⚖️ MURDAUGH MURDERS & TRIAL THREAD ⚖️

Poot’s criticism of Newman was laughable. Poot is a joke. He was poorly prepared for the trial, relied heavily on Griffin on legal issues, and was really arrogant.

There were a lot of stars in this trial….especially Newman…..Poot wasn’t one of them.
Not defending Poot at all but he was sort of in a tough position defending someone who's whole defense was nothing but lies and there was strong evidence to refute those lies.

With GM providing the OnStar data I would think they could get a good idea of where they were dumped by following Alec's trail unless a family member did the deed for him.
I’d assume that Alex for sure hid the temporarily guns around Almeda when he went that night right after the murder.

But he had from June 7 to whenever his arrest was to properly dispose of them. I assume he took them out on his boat somewhere and dumped them in the river tied to an anchor.

what were poots comments about the judge? i havent read up on everything.

just about the errors in admitting evidence which are mostly to blame on Poot and Jim’s questions opening the door

Defense is to blame on length of trial because Judge was limiting to Faris (Chris Wilson matter only) that was discussed in office on 6/7

Poot and JimJim don’t want to mention that

This trial proves that I don’t need to read James Clear in order to form new atomic habits.

Alec was right - self-detox is hard.

I like the local rumor that those guns went 6 feet under with Handsome.

just heard my wife listening to a call between him and Buster from jail. He seems to be giving code for Buster to go find something and Buster does not seem to be understanding. He said well if you do not want to do it I'll get my lawyer to do it or something along those lines.

I did not hear it all. Another great conspiracy. Dad leading son to weapons to get rid of

I guess LE would have to get permission from the family to dig up his grave to check?

I'm still interested in if LE is ever able to dig deeper into the supposed drug ring AM was involved with.

My wife has been asking what I'm going to do now that the trial is over. I told her I guess I'd start working again.

Ground penetrating radar. I don’t think they would have to dig it up.

I heard that one too - it was AM encouraging B to go hunting at Moselle - think it was dove season approaching but he specifically mentioned a deer feeder or something (weird) - then he said well if you dont want it then I will offer it to Jim Griffin

yep and Jim doesn't hunt. He was obviously trying to get someone to go to the deer feeders it seemed

The jury went out of their way to thank Kinsey for his testimony.

I wonder if Parkers had a scanner for the ID. Most clerks just scan what they are presented now days and don't really look at the picture or other info.
From the bides I saw the clerk seemed to look at ID presented and at Paul. Seemed to somewhat verify.
Probably wasn’t his first trip in there and if the ID was 2-3 years old could easily resemble

The video that I watched (Netflix show) of Paul purchasing the beer showed the clerk scanning the ID.

There are fake IDs now that scan. College kids order them in packs of 3 or 4 so if one gets taken they have another ready. Scanning IDs at a store is worthless

He had Buster’s ID.

I know I am just saying that the ID being scanned doesn't mean shit and even if they looked the similarities are close enough to not be questioned

But in today's world fake IDs can be ordered online that scan and are identical to whatever state you order. It's a problem because even if the place does right, scans, looks at picture and does everything possible, it doesn't matter.

But in this case, it definitely puts liability on Buster

Dang. Back in my day you needed a color copier and a laminator.

In high school, I had some dude's ID that worked in a warehouse with someone I knew that looked enough like me. Dude said for $25 he said he'd get you one. Deal done

My brother will get drunk and still call me by that name and bust out laughing.

No, they just need probable cause.

But it's hard to make a case for a probable cause warrant when the crime they are investigating -- the murder of Maggie and Paul -- has already resulted in a conviction.

Yep. I think most clerks think (and maybe are told) that if they scan the id they are good.

Per Eric Bland:

Creighton Waters told him that their next priority was the Gloria Satterfield case.

Now the Gloria Satterfield case is two things -- one is the obvious financial misappropriation and fraud, which Alex has already admitted to. But then there are questions about her death that are a big unknown. They did exhume her body, maybe a year ago, but I have not heard any other details.

I'm surprised with this if it is the cause of death. Not sure how you could tell whether she was knocked down by the dogs or was pushed by someone.
