⚖️ MURDAUGH MURDERS & TRIAL THREAD ⚖️

just heard my wife listening to a call between him and Buster from jail. He seems to be giving code for Buster to go find something and Buster does not seem to be understanding. He said well if you do not want to do it I'll get my lawyer to do it or something along those lines.

I did not hear it all. Another great conspiracy. Dad leading son to weapons to get rid of
I listened to this over the weekend. Included is an allegation they heard that before he died AM's dad told Ellick to "take care of Paul or he would." No idea if true or the contextual meaning.

The video's explanation of "why" is a plausible option. There some some things though we'll never known because they're locked in the mental vault between the ears of ginger-giant SCDC Prisoner #00390394 or buried deep in one of the graves.

Dang. Back in my day you needed a color copier and a laminator.
Back in my day you could drink at 18. In high school, we used to buy direct from an independent supplier (bootlegged) in Seneca. There's always a way.

Most of us don't get caught in the folly of our youth because we grow out of it and observe some boundaries of decorum. Paul did neither of those and ran out of time.

Time for this to go away !

Still got appeals and too many unanswered questions. This will be talked about for months until appeal happens and then assuming it is denied it won’t go away for a while.

Hell he still has 99 charges in the financial shit that he has to go to trial for and my guess is sone more shit comes out we have not even heard about

In high school, I had some dude's ID that worked in a warehouse with someone I knew that looked enough like me. Dude said for $25 he said he'd get you one. Deal done

My brother will get drunk and still call me by that name and bust out laughing.

Ok, now all this spectacle OUTSIDE the Murdaugh family is becoming uncomfortable. Too much profiteering on tragedy. The guilty has been put away forever, its time for the 15minutes of fame of some folks to die down.

Mark Tinsley blasts on twitter over the weekend and the profile pic is a tiger....but he does have a beautiful boykin so I'll allow that one.

Have you read the WSJ article on the Parker's case? It came out 3-5 months ago
Yes, but I am aware the case posture and all attorney's involved. Again, not saying it won't settle, it just won't be because of Tinsley's testimony. Very good attorney's on both sides. If you ever want to read about a case, all filings are public. You just google the county where it filed and its public index. Then enter one of the party's names. Always gives you good information.

I agree but I have enjoyed Creighton Waters getting on twitter and getting to see a different side of him. I will say if anyone deserves some "fame" from this, it's Waters. Dude put in the work and did a masterful job for 6 weeks and didn't allow SC to become a mockery to the rest of the nation watching.

Seems everyone enjoying their 15 or so minutes of fame and can't really blame them. These Murdaugh cases are career makers. Most could probably write books and never have to work again if they didn't want to.

He's a little different. He wasn't ethically/legally allowed to talk before the trial closed. He's providing extra context to his argument. Plus he's a state employee so at least in the short term he doesn't have a financial (or vindictive) benefit.

Strong disagree. Only one guilty party has been put away forever. More to come. Keep this train rollin'.

Plus, personal injury lawyers literally have the job of "profiteering on tragedy."

Buster Murdaugh complains to police about being followed, photographed on Hilton Head
By: Sofia Sanchez - The Island Packet

HILTON HEAD -- Days after his father was convicted and sentenced to two life terms for killing his wife and youngest son in 2021, Buster Murdaugh told the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office he was being harassed by national media photographers.

At 10 a.m. Sunday, Murdaugh, 26, called police to complain that a photo appeared in a New York Post article showing him through the blinds of his Hilton Head condo where he lives with his girlfriend, Brooklyn White.

The photo appears to have been taken at night with Murdaugh only visible through a gap between the blinds. After looking at their Ring Doorbell footage, the couple saw a “suspicious” car outside their home and told police, based on the car’s vantage point and where Murdaugh was in the home at the time, that they believe the driver of the car took the photo.

Police told Murdaugh they would perform extra patrols in the neighborhood, according to the report.

Less than an hour later, White called police to say she and Buster Murdaugh were “being followed by the media” while going down U.S. 278 near Spanish Wells Road heading off the island. Police saw the car that was allegedly following the couple and pulled the driver over for “speeding and making improper lane changes,” deputies said in the report. Police noted that the driver had what looked to be a “camera bag” with him when they pulled him over and he had a Louisiana driver’s license. They gave him a warning.

Buster Murdaugh is the older son of Alex Murdaugh, who was convicted after a six-week trial in the deaths of his 52-year-old wife, Maggie, and 22-year-old son, Paul. Both were found shot to death on June 7, 2021, at the family’s sprawling property in Hampton County known as Moselle. Alex Murdaugh said he found their bodies outside the dog kennels on the property. He was charged with the murders last July.

Buster regularly attended the six-week trial in Walterboro, S.C., along with other family members, and Brooklyn was often seen in the courtroom. They met while attending law school at the University of South Carolina, according to media reports.

The trial concluded Thursday evening when, after less than three hours of deliberation, a jury found Alex Murdaugh guilty on all charges. He was sentenced to two life terms the next morning by 14th Circuit Judge Clifton Newman.

Interest in the trial has garnered national media attention and resulted in several docuseries from channels and streaming giants including CNN, Netflix and HBO Max. The series have explored the Murdaugh family’s legal dynasty built over a century in the Lowcountry, Alex Murdaugh’s alleged financial crimes, and deaths of people close to the Murdaugh family.

Those deaths included that of Gloria Satterfield, the family’s housekeeper; Mallory Beach, Paul Murdaugh’s classmate who was killed in a boat accident in 2019 where Paul Murdaugh was driving, and Stephen Smith, a Hampton County 19-year-old and friend of Buster’s who was killed in a reported hit-and-run accident. The S.C. Law Enforcement Division reopened its investigation into the 2015 death of Smith two weeks after the double murders at Moselle.

Alex Murdaugh has yet to go to trial for nearly 100 other criminal charges connected to millions he admitting stealing from clients he represented while practicing as a lawyer, including the Satterfield family and the law firm his family founded a century ago.

Following the trial, Murdaugh was taken from Walterboro to a S.C. Department of Corrections facility in Columbia. He will be assigned to the corrections institute where he will serve his life sentences following a 30-day evaluation period.

His lawyers have said they will appeal the convictions.

I enjoyed seeing the Judge at the basketball game. He's the hero.

A second toaster or maybe 1 lucky “can’t miss” stock tip for view # 600,000
Your attitude is what's wrong with the Clemson football team. You settle. Why aren't you shooting for a 1,000,000? Pretty sure if the drug busts are coming soon, financial cases are on the dockets, and bodies are being exhumed, we've just experienced the tip of the iceberg.

Any who want off the Titanic should exit with the Ignore the Thread button. The Titanic hits the bottom when it's ready.

Well, it is going to be hard for the resident "He's not guilty" bunch to troll everyone when he had already admitted to being guilty.
