GOP are getting killed in the suburbs, and have been for like 4 straight election circuits.

Immigration was the top issue in exit polling in this special election. This dem candidate was very vocal on the maga hypocrisy when dealing with the border. He won.

Illegal immigration went UP in trumps' 2nd and 3rd years in office, and the GOP had the Pres, house and senate in his second year. The only reason it dropped in 2020 was because trump was able to use COVID to justify shutting down the border. Those actions would not pass the courts without a global pandemic.

What you're also missing is that both of these candidates tacked toward the middle, so even though both had similar stances on the issues, this proves that a Democrat can still win in this environment of the Right constantly railing about the border, crime and Biden's memory. Voters are smart enough to know that the gridlock and dysfunction in Congress is mostly a by-product of the Republicans in charge of the House. They are sick and tired of the extremism and never-ending nonsense coming out of the clown show in Washington. I'd be worried about what's coming if I were you.

Haley would likely trounce Biden on the national stage as she’d get all the independents, the original (non MAGA) republicans, and probably a good bit of democrats.
Want to see how well the MAGA movement does nationwide? Look at every election since 2016.
