You do understand that their guidance was intended to protect the herd, and not specific individuals, right? So in that context, the experts very well may have been right. They probably were. And yep, I’m not smarter than them about protecting 330M people, most of whom are older or fatter or sicker than my family members.
My responsibility is to my family, not the herd. Our decision was based on very specific health and demographic information that supported it. Fauci and mRNA experts can be right, and so can I at the same time. Because we were focused on solving different problems - 330M mostly overweight, comorbid people vs 4 young healthy people. Fauci didn’t have the capacity or ability to offer individualized COVID treatment protocols.
It was the seasonal flu. And Trump told us how to beat it: Get outside and get sunshine and live your lives.

- Take vitamins - C, D, zinc, etc.
This isn’t complicated. The people who weren’t overweight, were active and got outside, had excellent vitamin levels and weren’t old (the only one of these outside on an individual’s control) faired very well during COVID.
Being responsible and taking care of your health is the answer. It’s always been the answer. Most Americans don’t take care of themselves. So they need to make up for it with pharmaceuticals.

The recommendation didn't exclude anyone in your family except your youngest. They didn't recommend that only fat people take it because skinny people died as well.

Actually I'll have to respectfully disagree with first sentence. Experimenting with biological weapons and then leaking them is detrimental to the herd. To protect the herd, you also don't create dangerous vaccines whose efficacies and side effects are not reasonably known. To truly "protect the herd", you treat the symptoms and let Darwin sort us out. That's how you totally eradicate a plague.
They did just the opposite, and now we've weak hearts and still incidents of mutations. Will they learn from this the next time they unleash another plandemic?
We’re probably not going to agree and that’s fine. But again, understand that they could not give mixed guidance/recommendations and expect the result they were hoping for (broad vaccination). They couldn’t say, “Healthy people under 50, don’t risk an untested vaccine but if you are fat, old or have a comorbidity, you better get it.”
They also thought at the time that the vaccine would indeed stop people from getting COVID and stop people from spreading it. Of course we now know that they (yes the experts) were wrong. That’s undisputed at this point. There are reasons why - mutations, etc - but those should have been anticipated, and therefore the expected effectiveness accounted for.
I had no issue with strong promotion of the vaccine among those at risk. My parents totally should have been vaccinated and they were. But everyone who looked at the data knew that everyone with the profile of my family wasn’t really at risk. Sure there are flukes like with the flu or other infections, but the risk was infinitesimal.
The problem was mandating the vaccine for this group. Vax cards to get in places. Vilification of the unvaccinated. Hopefully a lesson was learned for next time.
Sadly, many libs are still dutifully taking any new shot offered to them, despite the fact that 'died suddenly' is now the leading cause of death in an alarming number of places.
This is the price people pay for putting their politics above their health and safety. Hate to see it, but you can't force someone to not be an idiot.

They say that pages of her stolen diary were published on a right wing website. They cannot say though, if all the pages published were from the diary. Again, we have a breakdown in the chain of custody.
