Can you point me to the part I inquired about? What in that article is it that you think is a threat to democracy? What govt function, policy ,law, edict, could possibly come about from any of this. Just like soros, can't directly make laws neither can the heritage foundation.

JUST IN: Now we know who had a key role limiting Secret Service resources to protect Donald Trump ahead of an assassination attempt on July 13th.
Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe.
"It was Rowe’s decision alone to deny counter sniper teams to any Trump event outside of driving distance from D.C.," sources told Real Clear Politics.
Acting Director Rowe testified before the U.S. Senate on Tuesday and admitted that it was an utter failure not to secure the rooftop where the shooter fired on Trump.

EXCLUSIVE: A Secret Service counter sniper sent an email Monday night to the entire Uniformed Division (not agents) saying he will not stop speaking out until "5 high-level supervisors (1 down) are either fired or removed from their current positions." The counter sniper also said the agency "SHOULD expect another assassination attempt" before November and complained that he is no longer proud to be a USSS counter sniper after leadership failed the officers at the Trump rally in Butler on 7/13.
"This agency NEEDS to change," the sniper wrote in the email. "If not now, WHEN? "The NEXT assassination in 30 days?"
"Sadly we have fallen short for YEARS," the counter sniper lamented. "We just look good doing it. I have conveyed these thoughts to not only supervisors (to include the current Captain of CS, but those responsible for training us (SOTS/CS). Only to be brushed off as those with less experience somehow knew more than me."
"The team I was once proud to be a part of, is something I have to somehow hide as I move into my next career," the counter sniper continued. "Who wants to hire a USSS CS guy who failed? That's the public perception I'm not faced with. The USSS CS team is a stain I will never be able to cleanse."
He concluded with these two lines: "The motto of the USSS...CYA. And every supervisor is doing it right now."
The agency quickly deleted the email, a knowledgeable source told RealClearPolitics.

ROWE LIED TO CONGRESS. Exceptional Secret Service sources are telling me that Rowe blatantly lied to senators when he testified on Tuesday.
Rowe said it was Trump's permanent detail working the shift that day (the innermost ring of security protection for Trump or any other protected).
Not true. The shift was all Candidate Nominee Operations Section or CNOS temps, my sources are telling me. In other words, the shift was made up of various field office agents. It's important because CNOS temps do not train together regularly and don't have regular, steady experience coordinating and working together.
Such a lie jibes with the hair-splitting @SecretSvcSpox was engaging in with me 24 hours after the assassination attempt when he said I was wrong to refer to the shift agents immediately surrounding Trump that days as "temps," (which is the normal Secret Service shorthand for CNOS, btw).
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeting directly to me on 7/15:
"As far as 'field office teams' these are the candidate nominee operations teams that are added during election years for the heavy travel tempo.
He did not answer my five detailed questions that he emailed me, instead choosing to answer me in a direct tweet on Twitter the NEXT day with my questions sitting in his email inbox for more than 13 hours.
Gulielmi was responding to this source-based assertion in an X post from me on 7/14:
"There were also many supplemental agents from different field officers (not Trump's regular detail) providing security at the rally because Trump's regular detail has been overworked (some working 7 days straight), and only two counter-snipers."
