I am registered to attend a investment banking conference in Las Vegas in early October. I recently received an email informing me that the association hosting it has decided to only let vaccinated people attend. They are requiring the use of the CLEAR app (same company that provides passage at aiports) to show proof.
No big deal. I downloaded the app, took pictures of my vaccine card and drivers license and a digital record was created for me.
I completely support the trade group’s decision and will feel safer attending the meeting. If athletic events required use of the same app, one could enter gates pretty swiftly the way we board airplanes or use e-tickets to events now.
