Haley is the future of the party - Trump is NOT
None of us can even be sure we'll be alive in 4 years. So let's just get through this before we entertain what's going to happen down the road.
I could really get behind a Haley/Scott ticket
Haley, Crenshaw, maybe an outsider again (Cuban, Iger, etc... but they lean more left imo). I’m all in Nikki Haley running
GOP strategists have to realize this idea that America in 2024 hold to these far right ideals isn’t going to work. We have to be open to a changing world - technology, urbanization, etc...
We’re seeing it with legalizing marijuana already. States like Montana and Arizona (I know they’re a swing state) legalized it. Hell, Mississippi had something. Other ideas that were once considered no way in passing years ago are now being accepted
I was hoping for a Nikki Haley/Tim Scott ticket. Indian Woman/Black Male in the Republican Party.
No chance. You don’t put 2 people from the same state on the ticket. And Scott isn’t high profile enough. My early dream ticket would be Haley/DeSantis.

Beside pot, what "far right ideal" are you referring to? Things like freedom, liberty, self-determination, hard work paying off, staying committed to our Constitution, education for all people, non-government interference in our day to day lives? Those are passé in your view?

My main point was we need to restrategize because Trump was divisive. I know far too many people who voted Biden simply because they like Trump the man. Policy was overlooked simply because of person. In order for us to win in 2024, we need to find someone who can work across the aisle, perhaps get his damn thumbs off Twitter, and be open to some leftist ideals, like legalizing marijuana

I like Crenshaw quite a bit. Purple heart veteran, grew up in various international countries so has a different perspective and he's been able to agree ways forward with the left on a few larger ticket items.
Also a huge fan of Valerie Ramirez Mukherjee......not a career politician and is more self made. Not sure if she's ready for prime time but her name should at least be mentioned.
I'd also like to see Candace Owen enter the arena, not necessarily for POTUS or VPOTUS in 2024 but I think she has a bright future if she decides to enter into politics.

2020 is not determined. I am not counting Trump out yet. Let it play out.
Haley will be the next president. I’ve known/believed she would be the first female president since she was in the governor’s mansion. As someone who voted against Trump but who has regularly voted for candidates from both parties over the years, Haley would have to lose my vote or there would have to be an awfully compelling candidate from the other party.
70 million + votes is not divisive. The media is where division comes from, they could just as easily promote unity but that wouldn’t get clicks.
We’ll simply agree to disagree. I liked Trump’s stance on China and how he really pushed for legal immigration. But he was a polarizing figure that was divisive in MY opinion.
I do like that exit numbers showed more Hispanics voted for him than in 2016. Same with black voters. But he lost a number of Evagelicals, ,white suburban women, and educated white voters.
One thing we can agree on - hopefully Loeffler and Perdue win on 1/5 to retain the Senate. And we win back the White House in 2024
I could get behind a Haley ticket. That would be a good thing. You guys are going to slowly realize over the new 4 years at least, how nice it is going to be that you don't have to wake up wondering what crazy shit the President is going to do or say today.
I wonder who she would pick as VP? I could get behind her also. Seems pretty close to the middle.....what's left of it anyway
It would need to be someone from a heavily populated state, like Texas, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, etc. Somewhere outside of the southeast would be ideal. Just please oh please stay the heck away from Ted Cruz!
I dont trust Haley. She is part of the establishment. Trump being a true outsider is why the events of the last 4 years have transpired as it has. It took Trump to unite the career political dems and repubs. Our current political class of repubs and dems were just running a scripted show with predetermined outcomes before Trump came on the scene and they are desparate to get back to normal. Politics equals professional wrestling(fake).
For all the pussies that think Trump is mean and voted for him solely for that, then hope the globalists are not able to execute this great reset that is being shoved up our butts here in media currently.

Haley. Hopefully the GOP voters realize how big of a liberal Trump was. Then they might become conservatives again. But then again Trump pushing more gun regulations than Obama also didn’t bother repubs so who knows.

The current mess with yearly deficits and the national debt is a runaway freight train. Trump or no one else can stop it at this point. I honestly think we are heading for a global economic reset at some point in the fairly near future. I do think Trump's economic strategy is whats best for the country though. The fact that the national debt will probably go up from around 20T to near 30T just due to the pandemic is not helping. I would rather have Trump or someone like him steering the ship when this looming reset hits us.

There are plenty of things Trump has done that has also helped. Deregulation and tax cuts are great, and you saw instant income growth because of it. My issues with him are that he understands deficits make you look better in the short term while adding more problems down the road.
There is truth in that deficits are now have bipartisan support. I much rather have a liberal in office when the deficits crush the economy than Trump. This should help move the blame away from capitalism.
The left and the right know its coming. The great reset being mentioned now is what the globalists want to do to handle whats coming while also keeping their control of course. Part of it would absolutely include transforming the US into a socialist country which will include drastic reductions in the lifestyle of US citizens. I am more than happy to put my money on Trump to do a better job of guiding the nation through this reset which is going to happen. I think Haley is a globablist and part of the establishment.
I believe that Trump would address some of the spending at the first opportunity. Our form of government and the drastic position that the US is in financially has some bearing on what he can and cannot do.
