Way OT...... just Curious are you a Christian?

Look.... Realize I am gonna loose a lot of popularity on the Internet. I don't care
Lol! This fvcking guy...
honest question.... do you even fish??? Answer. What about me repulses you? I will go fishing with you and report back to the board.

Born again Christian 8 years ago. I was on the other side of the fence for a long time, so I get where a lot of the guys are coming from. Check out some of C.S. Lewis' books, same path as in Atheist to Christian.

no I am not trolling lol. I am just curious. Are you a Christian? I am and I am not ashamed. I don't mean the kind of Christian who goes to church on Easter and Christmas Eve. I mean the kind of Christian who is sold out? I wasn't always (far from it) , but I am now and am growing every day. Who else knows what I
Talking about????

I am a Unitarian Universalist. So I believe in..........whatever.

I have zero idea what you even mean by this
couple of beers and both you guys would understand

There is really something to all this.
We ALL have an innate need to wonder/believe in a 'higher power'.
There is a lot of data, a lot of facts and there is an obvious need to 'believe' something.

You can 'believe' Darwinism.
You can 'believe' Christianity.
You can 'believe' Mormonism
You can 'believe' Hinduism
You can 'believe' Islam
You can 'believe' Catholicism (can't believe I'm even typing that, but it fits.)

There is more fiber, more proof, more fire for the belief in Jesus than all the others combined.

But, some will never get it, nor want to get it.
Yet the facts CAN be discussed on a civil basis...........without expecting you to jump in some tub and "be baptized" ............HEALED!!!!!!!!! as Leroy Jenkins would say...........

There is faith.
There is fact.
There is fire.

I'm just sorry that so many well meaning Christians don't understand that 'spreading the Gospel", as we are commanded to do............does not mean confronting people or grabbing them by the throat and asking in a LOUD VOICE (are you a Christian) and IF NOT YOU ARE GOING TO HELL!!

That ain't the Jesus way.

............just sayin'

I WILL NOT preach to you.

But, if you, or any of us, are hoping to have a good outcome by being judged by our actions/thoughts............it ain't gonna end well.

.............just sayin
LOLOLOL! Bless your heart. What do you mean..."it ain't gonna end well"? Are you and the original poster suggesting that God created most people to torment in a sadistic place He created called hell?

Jesus spent most of his time with the worst sinners for a reason.

So in the same vein, all of Christianity is a cult. Faith doesn't equal proof or truth.

"Religion is the opiate of the masses." -Karl Marx
Decide for yourself. It's simple. Have you studied the gospel?? Even more important.... have you studio Mormonism??? Have you ?

My man, I'd love to get into this at whatever level you would like.
You don't know me, I don't know you.
We don't even have names.

PM me or whatever, but I will not try to explain Reformed Theology on a message board. LOL

Go Tigers!

Planing on bringing my new wife back for the Auburn game.

Can we have a tent meeting somewhere?............ with kegs and all?
Someone can set up the tent and bring the kegs and I will peach a real Grace message. Just say when and where...You'll hear about a Father of Love and a Jesus full of Grace and truth who foreknew ALL in Himself before the foundations of the earth were established. NOT a God who will burn His own children in some sadistic dungeon.

whoa.............there just a minute bro

We need to talk.
God IS love.

In fact, all love and grace you see in this dark, dark world is of Him.

WE humans cannot generate an ounce of it. Ever.

You are headed in the right direction, so maybe the TENT is a good idea.
I'd like to add to/discuss your position.
:)

Anyone listened to Ravi Zacharias? Christian apologist who really knows his stuff and makes you think through issues using logic instead of blind faith.

I think it takes more faith to be an atheist compared to Christian but completely understand being agnostic.

YouTube some of Ravi's lectures. They're really interesting from a philosophical perspective for all faiths.

You are correct but it seems like when somebody says they're not a Christian, the OP clearly tells them they're wrong and they feel sorry for them.
lol have I not reached out to you?!! I've invited myself to go fishing . I get it. How bout a cup of coffee??? I guess in too judgmental for that tool

I listen to him a lot!!! I heard him live in Littlejohn. It takes WAYYYY more faith to be an athiest. It's why I started this thread. No athiest has brought anything to the table

haha
Isn't it amazing how people 'come out of the woodwork' to comment about the God they don't believe in?
I find it fascinating.

And they should find it somewhat odd.............if not a WHOLE LOT worse than that.
didnt the OP ask ppl if they were Christian? correct me if im wrong but isnt there more than one way to answer that question?
