⚖️ MURDAUGH MURDERS & TRIAL THREAD ⚖️

I saw this out on the internet via twitter ... from interview 2 ....
I think Alex is talking about the little red light mounted on the missing rifle. He mentions that he uses it "that night".
the video is cued up to this 15 sec sound clip.
How do you explain using a laser sight “that night” , no less from a missing gun that was likely used to kill his wife?

Quite a slip, and it seems like he sat there looking ahead in silence not believing that he just said that.

so at first listen, he is saying that someone drove the 4-wheeler after they were shot -

maybe I am mis-interpreting -

edit - he said she made contact with it and was not run over by it

I have a buddy that's an attorney in Columbia and has worked with Judge Newman previously. He said he is the most brilliant person that he's ever come across.
He is a very smart judge. And his trial demeanor from the bench is outstanding. He Lets the lawyers do their job but runs the courtroom very organized. Very approachable. A true gentleman who knows and understands the law.

Harpootlian suggesting Tyrion Lannister fired the shotgun

Wonder how he lured them to the kennels. Is that the dude that was apparently off that day that used to have black panthers ties or something like that?

Certainly if off that day AM woulda noticed him on the property

I'm surprised no one has considered that the reason for the shot from down low on Paul was maybe the shooter was falling down backwards as he exited the feed room.

My guess is they are going to use the angles to suggest there is no way AM fired the shots because he is much taller than Paul.

You know this, but people that are comfortable with guns often hold them all kinds of different ways. Poot is trying to convince everyone that it had to be against his shoulder 🤦🏻

He was off looking for another job, but LE has already ruled him out as a suspect based on his phone, vehicle, etc I believe.

based on AGAIN, the defense attorneys opening the door
They are either:

1. flat out making undisciplined mistakes in cross, just getting rolling downhill going off script and bringing things in, or
2. strategically believe that what they are bringing up that is opening doors is so vital to the defense, that it is worth the risk.

So on the roadside shooting, they may believe so strongly that is worth the risk of letting all that come in to be able to squarely point to Eddie, the drugs and the gangs as give the jury an alternative theory of the crime and try to shoot that LE did not adequately pursue alternative theories.

Let me start by saying Poot makes himself to be quite unlikeable with his smug "aww shucks" ass.

So how about the first shot catches Paul by surprise with gun breech just inside the doorway in feed room. Shooter assumes that he (Paul) will see what the heck is going on by making his way to the doorway. Shooter uses the quick moment to exit door way tuck against the feed room wall. Crouches down to a knee just in case Paul comes out swinging for his life. He doesn't want to catch heat to the face...so the extreme angle of the 2nd shot the "kill shot" is from a crouched position of cover - from low and left as Paul staggers to feed room doorway.

edit: I am working on catching up with this morning's proceedings...Poot just made the concession that it could have been from a kneeling position...still doesn't change my opinion of him...

I also think the, “how could a Father brutally murder his son like that” crowd needs to listen to how important it was to Alex that they “didn’t suffer”.

He was looking for immediate death. That was very important.

Have you ever tried to fire a magnum turkey load or buckshot load without having it shouldered?

I can assure that if the first shot was not shouldered that the gun would have recoiled so violently that a quick follow-up shot wouldn't be possible.

I think a more probable scenario is the shooter was on his knee or sitting.

Am I the only one that thinks Paul and AM probably struggled and that's how Paul was shot in the manner he was?

Maybe Maggie was the target. Paul intervened. Maggie ran while Paul and Alex fought. Alex shot Paul in the struggle and then had to finish him off. Maggie was shot while running away and then had to be finished off as well. Not knowing nearly as much of facts as you guys do, that's how I see it going down.

They have. This short video analyzes the crime scene based upon publicly available info. Former law enforcement set this up.

I was first hand witness to a murder back in 1993 in which the murder weapon was a 12 gauge automatic shotgun and the way that guy was firing the weapon the angles being presented here in this case would’ve been almost exactly the same. Low, down to his side, angled upwards. Burned into my memory. Will never forget.

So could the shooter have been down on 1 knee to explain the low angle???

I would suppose that’s possible too. I was just stating that I’ve actually seen someone firing a shotgun at another person holding the gun down low at their side with the barrel angled upwards. The trajectory would’ve been very similar to what is being presented here. The person that was as murdered that I witnessed was also shot in the neck and head area. Thank God I didn’t see the person who got shot because they were inside of the building and the killer was outside of the building shooting into the front door.
