⚖️ MURDAUGH MURDERS & TRIAL THREAD ⚖️

The part about mistrusting law enforcement is a total farce. None of that adds up.
No doubt.....Alex carried badge , manipulated things , and controlled the la there until the financial stuff hit. The Netflix documentary demonstrates that explicitly at the boat accident scene and in the hospital.

Totally.

The idea that he was cozy only with DNR, and not with SLED (and thus paranoid of them) has been rendered a total joke from the available evidence and actions (and inactions).

yeah the paranoid argument does not align with anything we know about Alex Murdaugh. That is horse shit.

And to the point he was so paranoid he did not get one single detail accurate but his misrememberings are awful convenient to somehow align with the timeline in a positive way for him...

Seems about right

They get the case early this afternoon. Tomorrow is Friday. They've been hemmed up for 6 weeks. They'll have a verdict by 5pm tomorrow.

if it is a verdict by tomorrow at 5 then it is a guilty. My guess is the deliberation lasts longer than that but I hope not. Quick decision would be bad for Alex in my unprofessional opinion

AM's alibi hinges on at least one juror believing his paranoia caused him to lie on his whereabouts so they can believe he wasn't there.

Without the paranoia, he had no reason to lie about his whereabouts.....unless he knew the time of death because he was at the kennels when his family was shot and needed to remove himself from focus.

The truth is not found in AM's words but his actions.

I can believe hed be afraid of sled. Makes perfect sense that he would be afraid of an entity he had no preferential treatment with.

It’s crystal clear he was afraid bc he knew they wouldn’t screw up the evidence gathering or investigation.

When he mentioned that he was paranoid because AT THAT EXACT MOMENT HE HAD A BAG OF PILLS IN HIS POCKET.

OH MY GOD.

Alex could walk up to a group of SLED agents and toss 10 bags of pills on the table and not a single one would move a muscle.

Except that he absolutely did get preferential treatment from SLED.

The truth is found in both.

I mean if you really want to boil down all the facts in this case to one succinct point, it is this - everything Alex Murdaugh says...

I don’t know much about the SC judiciary.

Does Judge Newman have a clerk or clerks? A staff attorney (or access to a pool of staff attorneys)?

This is a long trial for everyone involved, and he is doing an excellent job.
Typical office is a administrative assistant and law clerk. Admin stays in their home office and the law clerk typically travels the circuit with the Judge and is in the courtroom etc. Not a ton of research at the circuit level from the clerk or staff.

Haha...no sh....t....You know the saying...."If his lips are moving, he is lying"

yep

paranoia does not give you the ability to tell lies that coincidentally fall into a perfect timeline and I hope the prosecution somehow says things along those lines
