Supposedly, 3 zones have cops not showing up for the night shift and mass resignation after today’s press conference. Zone 6 already confirmed that dispatch cannot get a single response on radio. Going to be a rough few days here. Crazy times.

I'd resign after watching that press conference. What an absolute bastardization of what this country is suppose to represent. My jimmies were beyond rustled witnessing that clown show.
Charged that cop with felony murder. Even before the GBI investigation is complete.
I know one thing, if I was a cop anywhere in the country right now, no way would I be showing up to work. These moron so called leaders in these cities have proven time and again that they will throw the cops under the bus every chance they get. Let these cities see what it will be like when no one shows up when you dial 911. They want to dismantle the police. Let them see what a world without law and order looks like.

We are in the process of conducting this investigation. Although we have made significant progress in the case, we have not completed our work. Our goal in every officer involved shooting case we are requested to review, is to complete a thorough, impartial investigation before we submit the file to the respective District Attorney’s Office. The GBI was not aware of today’s press conference before it was conducted. We were not consulted on the charges filed by the District Attorney. Despite today’s occurrence, the GBI will complete its mission of completing an impartial and thorough investigation of this incident and we will submit the file, once completed, to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

An underpaid civil servant got convicted in the court of public opinion by a guy who is suppose to have his back. It's not feelings, it's right and wrong. What that DA did to that officer today was beyond wrong.
