Biden approval rate at 63%.

When you compare it to the alternative our side still looks better. Regardless, Joe won't run again but the mid-terms could be bleak, though I doubt they'll be as bad as your side predicts. We came out pretty good after re-districting and if your side keeps pushing all this Puritan style backwards legislation, I think we still have a chance to pull it out.

Biden's numbers will be better by 2024 for sure. The incumbent party losing control of one or more chambers in year 2 is nothing new (it happened to Front Butt too). In some ways, it is good for the country.

Biden won't be the 2024 candidate. Mark Cuban will be. And he is going to destroy whoever the pubs put up against him. Write that down.

Does it? If you want free stuff from the government I guess it does.

Nobody cares about the legislation you are referencing. They care about the economy, inflation, competent leadership, etc.

Where will they get competent leadership from?

And I promise you there will be a backlash against all this Amish style legislation and if your side does take power back in the mid-terms, your side's banal insanity will be on full display. For two years it'll be all about Hunter's laptop, impeaching Fauci, Biden and Kamala, CRT, and controlling women's uteruses. You'll lose all your mojo by the time 2024 rolls around.

The party that rails against the 1% and has a significant Bernie bloc is going to nominate a billionaire independent? I would prefer Cuban far and away over the leftist political hacks that are more likely to be nominated, so sad to say I think it's unlikely.

... an ACTUAL savy business man, he isnt a walking meme ????? Color me interested.

To be fair though ... the bar to gain my "support" is low .... very very very low. The bar for me is 1) dont be a physical representation of everything that is wrong with the human race and 2) have a functioning brain.

... also ... if ... youre answer to the question "What is a woman?" is anything other than "An adult human female" ... well .... see #2.

Certainly not the current executive branch.

Oh I don't underestimate the GOP's ability to fvck it up with stupid stuff like that. Both sides are full of morons who pander to the mouth breathing portion of their respective bases.

Cuban and the DNC are already talking behind the scenes. Wheels are in motion. Bernie Bros love Cuban's prescription drug company.

Can you imagine Trump trying to debate Mark F'n Cuban? Why do you think the RNC pulled out of future presidential debates? Because Trump is scared of debating Biden?

Haha, he lost the last debate to Biden so that cantaloupe would lose against Styrofoam.
I'm calling it now - Cuban vs Musk. Tell me that wouldn't be entertaining as hell!

Cuban would take your party back to the middle at least.

Hopefully Trump isn't the R nominee.

I would love for him to be the nominee. I admittedly don't know much about where he stands on a lot of things, but I can't help but think he would be the best candidate they will have put up in, maybe forever. Not to mention, as you said, how a 1%'er being a dem candidate will roil the progressive side of the party.

Cant be Musk ... he was born in South Africa. BUT ... that would be a very entertaining race ... and ... based on what I know of the two men, the US would win either way.

I sure hope isn't. I think he might could beat Biden at this point, but that is about it. He really has no shot to win. I'm afraid the republican party is going to throw away the gift they have been given in Biden.

Ah, forgot about that but it's still fun to think about. I don't think you could classify either as a liberal or conservative though. Just creative problem solvers, which is exactly what we need.

My party is the Independent Party. The fact that Trump convinced the RNC to pull out of future debates, I think means he is absolutely going to be the candidate.

Cuban has said in the past that he is down the middle, but he could never run as a Republican because their approach is all or nothing. You have to 100% accept their platform or you can't be the nominee. And these days since Trump took over the party, you are going to have to say that you think the election was stolen to be the candidate. (Pro tip: It wasn't)

I have come to the conclusion that our government is woefully inept - both sides. I would love for Cuban to come in and start a shark tank like investment program - start doling out government funds to innovative companies that are developing solutions to combat climate change and other issues. Let's put the best and brightest back to work for the government. Keep church and religious beliefs the **** out of government.

Let’s be real. Your party is the anti-Trump party. You’d vote for Kermit The Frog, if he was nominated by the DNC.

Trump has you wrestled in the jimmies, for life.

I've grown increasingly independent and repulsed by politicians on both sides. I wouldn't say that's drawn me any closer to the democrat party though - especially today's democratic party.

A independent problem-solver type would be good for America. Just not sure how we get there in our current system.

Don't you believe though that it's really the extremes of both parties that we really resent because most of us are more centrist? I'm not a fan of the progressive wing of my party but the majority of Democrats are in the reasonable middle. You can't say that for the current state of the Republican party. The wing that you represent barely exists anymore. There are Republicans that I would vote for but they're pretty much outcasts at this time. That's one reason why I admire you for having the balls to come on here and speak what most Rs would refrain from saying out loud. We need more of you to rein this thing back in.

Republicans show their true colors when they decide not to run again. They immediately stop kissing Trumps ass. The senator from PA (Toomey?) after announcing his retirement even went as far as the vote for Trump's impeachment for January 6th.

All of the other ones are terrified of retribution for saying anything that Trump does not like. Like saying that the election was not stolen.

Trump is an ass cancer.

if you supported Donald Trump even after his actions between Nov 3 through Jan 7th, then I say the same right back at you. Have some ****ing shame, tough guy.

It’s not surprising. He campaigned on a ton of shit to get the far left vote that he’s refused to address.

No chance my guy. State governments are crushing the redistricting efforts. Hell florida is about to get a 20-8 advantage despite RS winning 53-47 In the election.

gerrymandering ruins states for both parties and should be completely abolished.

Democrats in the middle? There's some seriously delusional crap being posted in this thread. I just have to wonder what color the sky is in some of the worlds people in this thread live in. Good grief.

gerrymandering ruins states for both parties and should be completely abolished.

This is the single biggest problem at work in this country. It just gives us more and more radical and stupid candidates. Of course, on the national level we've shown we'll pick some real idiots as well. At this point, I am just for the smallest government possible. The government shouldn't be doing much of anything but defending our border, regulating interstate commerce and funding our military. Abolish almost everything else.

Dems will never elect or promote an actual person that will ever actually DO SOMETHING. There’s too much money in “fighting” and every politician is owned by some big money identity so they’re all whores

they’re just like Rs, except they’re nice enough to hide their lies behind a veneer of false promises

I’d deflect and change the subject if I was you, too. 🤡

I agree that gerrymandering should be abolished but the state courts did strike down aggressive Republican gerrymandering attempts in North Carolina and Ohio. Ambitious Democratic gerrymandering attempts then canceled out much of the Republican advantage. But if DeSantis' proposed map is adopted in Florida, they will re-take the advantage. Dems have tried to pass bills to abolish partisan gerrymandering but Pubs won't go along with it, so they're forced to play the game as well - they have to. And to this point they've come out a lot better than expected.

Just fricking crushing it. The American people got this one right.

In the fourth month of his presidency, Biden’s overall approval rating sits at 63%. When it comes to the new Democratic president’s handling of the pandemic, 71% of Americans approve, including 47% of Republicans.

Not even a full year later:
NOW (LMAO) changing parties, and pushing Mark Cuban for president!

I do not need to say anything more.

1. I have never switched parties, I have always been an independent. Why do you think I still get weekly emails from Trump trying to grift me for money?

2. Another thing that has not changed... if given the choice between Biden and Trump 100 times, I would vote for Biden 100 times.

Because you hate the economy and foreign policy and love weak Presidents with dementia who allow Russia to attack the innocent people of Ukraine because they have a democratic democracy? I'm glad you love communism and $4.00 gas prices. Most normal Americans, do not.

Let's get this straight, Although we do not agree on some issues about trump, I did not vote for him, and probably would not again. I did think he did some very good things for this country and some not so good things. I have stated this since day number 1.

You continue to talk about him and lump all republicans under him umbrella. Call me republican, Independent, whatever the hell you want to. I want the best for this country and I just gave you an example about lumping everyone that does not like some of your opinions into one group.
You cannot praise the democrat's and Joe Biden one day and defend the policies and then out of the other side of your mouth, chant I'm and independent and don't agree.

You'll never accept you're wrong, Heck, you can't even accept you might just be partially wrong, been dealing with you way too long, and that says a lot.

Oh the irony. You are "lumping me in" with Democrats. I absolutely skew Democrat, but I am and have been for years a registered independent. Thats just a fact, whether you like it or not. Where exactly did I say I disagree with Biden? Of course I disagree with him on several things, but where did I say that here?

The whole "admit you were wrong" narrative is so, so, so, so stupid. We are in year 2 of a four year presidency.

Good grief dude...That's the point! You don't want to be grouped, but then you group all others.

So from the date of your original post until now, your saying you were not wrong by any account?
(and leave trumps name out of it, he's not passing policies anymore)
