SCOTUS TO BITCH SLAP COLORADO SUPREME COURT

The lefts favorite Bill Barr

Barr said, “As you know, I strongly oppose Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. I think this case is legally wrong and untenable. I think this kind of action of stretching the law and taking hyper-aggressive missions to knock Trump out of the race they are counterproductive. They backfire, as you know. He feeds on grievance just like a fire feeds on oxygen. This will end up as a grievance that helps him.

What’s going to happen when the SCOTUS rules that there was no insurrection and turns the lefts whole narrative upside down? Going to be some egg on the face and their narrative will continue collapsing. Even the voters who weren’t paying attention before will now see their corrupt ways.

The only way for SCOTUS to overturn this is to say there was NO insurrection (according to lieu)

@dpic73

If he did the same shit that Trump has done, he would have never been on the ballot in the first place because Democrats wouldn't support him. But if he did the things that Trump did, we'd kick him off the ballot before the states ever got around to it.

Why is that ONE MAN more important to you than our country is what I want to know?
It has absolutely nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the abuse of the system, agencies, media etc. They literally changed laws in order to kick him off the ballot. That is election interference and the opposite of a democracy. This is a great summary of how broken it is....

You know exactly what happens. They are going to riot, loot, disrupt and attack just like they did in 2020.

Don’t call out the police or National Guard to stop the looting

I have a flawed solution that when the riots start have the police back out and let White Supremists and Survivalists take over crowd control

Now that will be worth watching

I've already told you that's not what they'll be ruling on but you're not accepting it. It won't be a question of whether it was an insurrection or not, it will focus on whether the amendment specifically applies to Trump since the language is vague. States have the right to make rulings like that so they won't overturn it per se, but will likely rule that he's not an officer of the United States. There are those that argue he doesn't qualify as an officer and others that say he absolutely does because the Constitution repeatedly references the Office of the President.

Besides all that, we all know it was an insurrection no matter how badly you're embarrassed about it.

Why do you only focus on the response to Trump's treachery but never what he did to earn that response? Just a typical magat who twists everything to make the victims the bad people and the criminals the good ones. Sad.

You cannot abuse the system to make Trump guilty, that isn't how it works. You have to prove he did something wrong. Totally understand you don't like him, totally understand the country may not like him but he has to do something illegal.

Did you know that Trump and attorneys offered to have the DOJ and the FBI present on all document searches in the classified documents case? For Trump Towers, Bedminster and Mar-a-lago they insisted that DOJ and FBI be present. Did you know that DOJ and FBI refused?

Did you know that NARA collects all records at the end of every presidency and transfers them to a secure storage location in the state that the former president is moving to? Trump is the first president since Carter they didn't do that for, they refused. They also refused to build him a presidential library, again.....the first since Carter.

Did you know that no security footage was deleted from Mar-a-lago? An employee inquired about deleting and a conversation took place but Trump and his attorneys said no and then turned all records over to DOJ.

Seems totally legit that all of these things would happen and then all of the sudden there are nuclear codes missing.

Oh noes, what a victim he is - can't believe what all those meanies did! I'm sure I could punch holes in everything you said above if I wanted to take the time, but I'll just address his library.

"The government might pay for lifetime Secret Service protection, but it doesn’t front the money for a library: No federal funds may be used to build or equip a presidential library, and no federal property may be used. To get the ball rolling, former presidents must create a nonprofit to raise hundreds of millions of dollars. While they may do so in unlimited sums, with almost no disclosure, from any source, anywhere in the world, it’s a lot easier to do it while in office."

They probably would have tried it if not for Manchin and Sinema during Biden’s first 2 years. It’s absolutely in their plans if they win both houses and the presidency, which is why we need to nominate an electable GOP candidate.

Hilarious.

"We are mad that a politically biased Colorado supreme court ruled against trump!"

"We are also happy that a politically biased US supreme court will rule for trump!"

It is only bad when it doesnt work in your favor.

And trump is going to be your nominee, you might as well focus on something else for the next 11 months.

Just look at the magidiots in this thread who are convinced joe biden is behind this colorado ruling because "trump was running away with the vote".

trump had zero - I repeat, zero - chance of winning that state.

Okay, I'll play along. How about publicly demanding the firing of a govt official in return for financial aid. How about every decision beneficial to china he has made. The ev mandate is a tremendous benefit to their economy. See articles below. I'm not saying I agree with everything in them- I barely scanned them to be honest. However, that is not the point. The point is that there are clearly some who think biden is giving them preferential treatment. The argument can be made. Heck, I could argue giving iran billions of dollars constitutes giving aide to an enemy.

All of that is secondary, though. The main point is who gets to decide that and what that process entails.

Several southern states have discovered lithium deposits. That is why @TigerGrowls wet dream, Arky governor Sarah Huckabee has come out very pro-EV in the last month. You will see others follow suit, including fix news.

Just to really be an outlier

I am seeing using Fuel Cells in Electric Cars with the Feeder Stock from Modular Breeder Nuclear Reactors as the Source

So lithium will not be as essential

Right, bc joe hasn’t been slapped down multiple times by the courts trying to usurp power he doesn’t have.

biden was unfairly treated by biased conservative SC judges.

Am I doing it right?

The Trump legal team invited the DOJ and the FBI to search all locations for classified documents with them, they declined. When do you reckon that will be on CNN? It destroys the entire narrative.

But sure, let us know your nonpartisan view when you stop LOL'ing

All of this on the multiple cases is being coordinated from a central control point.

Here is the liberal behind Trump's disqualification from the primary ballot in Colorado. His name is Noah Bookbinder (@NoahBookbinder). Yesterday he wrote, "We just won before the Colorado Supreme Court in our challenge to keep Donald Trump off the ballot as disqualified under the 14th amendment for engaging in insurrection. A huge moment for democracy. More to come soon."

In September, he said that his group was representing dissatisfied Republicans and Independents in Colorado who wanted Trump off the ballot. Only Republicans and Independents vote in the GOP primaries in Colorado.

He wrote back in September, "BREAKING: Six Republican and unaffiliated Colorado voters, represented by @CREWcrew and distinguished CO attorneys, just filed a lawsuit to remove Donald Trump from the state's ballot because he is disqualified under the constitution's 14th amendment."

NOTE: He said six Republicans and unaffiliated Colorado voters are the ones who went to court. But in reality, it's the liberals behind it using six Republicans who hate Trump.

As Glen Greenwald pointed out tonight, this same group has about 14 cases against Trump in other states using the same tactics. They want to go from state to state finding liberals registered as Republicans and to go to court.

As you can see, it all seems fraudulent.

I don't believe you but why does this matter? He hid the documents from his legal team as well. He lied and said he had turned over all the documents when he knew he hadn't. He had two of his houseboys move some of the boxes out of the storage room before Corcoran had a chance to search the room.

What a stupid defense you're putting up for this criminal

I guess we will see if you're LOL'ing when the outcome gets flipped. What are you going to do if he gets elected in 2024? You and dicpic going to move to Canada?
lololololol.

What makes you think other countries will accept our passports when you Neanderthals elect the Anti-Christ? They've made it loud and clear that they will no longer trust us if we allow that abomination to occupy the WH again.

Prove it but even if it's true, let me tell you a little secret. None of this would have happened if Trump didn't stage an insurrection. If you don't want to be taken off the ballot, don't insurrect dummy. Why don't you ever focus on HIS crimes?

Yeah. Thats how the constitution works. Trump has openly stated he wishes to tear down this and other constitutional processes.

They are not the same. Trump wants to be an autocratic ruler and his supporters attempted a coup against the government. They both suck? Ok, but one is clearly, obviously a significant threat to the institutions and even the very foundation of our republic.

Yeah, they almost succeeded. It they could have taken out just a few more of the top govt officials, it would have been a complete success. They were soooooo close!
Never mind, I got confused for a minute. Actually, it was the first coup attempt in history where no one died that day, no one in the building had a gun, fired a single shot, had a clue where the "enemy" was, and never cam face to face with one single person in the govt they planned to overthrow. All this despite the fact they had people inside said govt giving them aide.

well this is just blatantly untrue.
Actually you are right, one of the protestors was shot and killed. My bad, the rest is accurate.

Edit to say when i said not one in the building had a gun, I meant the people attempting the coup. None of them had guns- even though they most certainly knew the police, secret service, and others who would be in charge of thwarting the coup would would certainly be armed. Weird, right?

You keep telling the same tired lies to provide cover for the sociopath that you don't like but constantly defend. There absolutely were people there with guns but we'll never know how many because the police were overwhelmed and couldn't search everyone. The lengths you'll go to provide yourself an out for your complicity SMH.

As for this lovefest that wasn't a coup, why was Trump calling on Pence DURING the insurrection to refuse to perfrom his Constitutional duty and calling Senators to persuade them to stop the counting of electoral votes? You damn right he was trying to take my vote away so he could remain in power, no matter how much you simp for those traitors.

"A few observations on the list. First, on the issue of guns. Five suspects — Christopher Michael Alberts, Lonnie Leroy Coffman, Mark Sami Ibrahim, Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr., and Guy Wesley Reffitt — are charged with possessing firearms. But none are charged with using them during the riot.

Alberts was arrested at 7:25 p.m., after the riot was over, when police enforcing the District of Columbia curfew suspected he had a handgun under his coat as he was leaving.

Coffman was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. after he told police that he was trying to get to his parked pickup truck. Officers found two handguns on Coffman's person and two more guns, along with possible bomb-making materials, in the truck.

Ibrahim was a Drug Enforcement Administration agent who had given his notice to resign and was on personal leave on Jan. 6; at the riot, he was carrying his DEA-issued badge and pistol.

Meredith was not in Washington at all for the riot. He arrived later that evening after allegedly texting a threatening message about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Meredith told police that "he had two firearms in his truck, and he knew that he was not supposed to have the firearms in Washington, DC. Therefore, he moved the firearms to his trailer," according to court documents. Officers found a handgun, a rifle, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in the trailer.

Finally, court papers say Reffitt had a handgun on his person on Jan. 6."

I know reading comprehension is not your strong suit, so I will point out the fact I said not one in the building. Still, the lame "they were overwhelmed" excuse is ridiculous. If there were a majority of people there attempting a coup, knowing the "enemy" would be armed, they would almost all have been armed. Did they plan to shoot spitballs at people with guns, lol?!?!?!?!? Yet NOT ONE person IN THE BUILDING attempting the coup fired a shot or was caught with a gun. NOT ONE!
Even if you want to expand that to the outside area around the building, 5 people is nothing. I'm not sure how many people were arrested, well over 700, but the fact that there were only 5 with guns should tell you the overwhelming majority, if not all of them, had zero intention of attempting a coup. 5/700 = is not even 1%. Plus, they caught all of those leaving, or not even at the capitol, right? Why did they not use their guns while they were there?

You are the one that has to be simple minded to think any significant percentage of people there that day came with any intention of attempting a coup. Yeah, I'm going to go face armed capitol police and freaking secret service agents, but I'm just going to leave my gun at home. LOL!

Only a loser that wants to absolve himself of his guilt would say it wasn't a coup attempt because it didn't work.

Why did Trump bring them there and enrage them with his speech? Don't tell me again about the couple of pretty lines he threw out there that you know are immaterial - he brought them there to intimidate Congress into not counting the votes and you know it. If he didn't want it to happen, he wouldn't have waited so long to stop it.

The evidence is overwhelming from his calls to Raffensberger and the Michigan call we are hearing about today, to the Eastman plan devised beforehand, which included the fake electors. It was all part and parcel of an attempt to steal the election that he lost by 7 million votes. He didn't apologize for any of it either which also goes to intent. It was a damn coup attempt, period.

"Prosecutors have said teams of Oath Keepers guarded the arsenal of firearms and were prepared to rush them into the hands of extremists in the capital if needed."
