And you won’t be deported and set free if you’re convicted of murder, regardless of citizenship status. Deportation would come after release from prison, which is unlikely for a murder 1 conviction.

The original post was blaming (partially or fully) the president for the murderer being a non citizen. That is not the same as an illegal immigrant.
