Your vote totals ignore candidate quality. Obama was very popular and Trump was deeply flawed. Anti-Trump sentiment drove the gap in 2020, not support for liberalism or Biden.
We also have to overcome the free OPM you guys distribute to all the poors. 50% of poors are dem vs. 27% leaning republican.
Once you remove the people who view the government as a source of income, it becomes way more clear.

I'd also add that conservative does not necessarily equal Republican. I think the GOP is very flawed. I don't agree with numerous policy positions.
I think you can see it on this board. There is a solid group of Biden voters who seem to support limited government, fiscal responsibility, etc. WapPride described himself similarly the other day. Yoshi, hopeful, etc seem to be the same.
I think most of the country falls into this bucket. The GOP has done a shitty job of policy positioning to ensure it grabs all of them. It leaves room for people worried about climate change, people worried about abortion or people turned off by Trump/MAGA/conspiracies to vote against their foundational beliefs in the role of government.
Perhaps as soon as your get-out-the-vote campaign gets out of the inner cities and reaches rural America in near similar proportions.
But seriously, the electoral college was a device used by the Founding Fathers to prevent mob rule, among other things (these other things being to ensure we have an informed electorate where the chief magistrate is concerned).
I'd just assume we go back to more fully implementing the electoral college than to completely surrender to the failings of pure democracy.

I believe the San Fran DA was voted out and the one in LA is a disgrace and should be voted out as well. Being a Democrat does not mean I don't care about crime.
