I would look to see what is behind door #3 .Can we write in Obama for a third term?
If you feel like that, just vote for Bernie. Can we write in Obama for a third term?
Considering I am not a socialist, I would say Trump.
How so? You do realize that our Founding Fathers were arguably people more like Trump than Sanders.Bernie. Trump is as unqualified for President then any candidate since Al Sharpton.
I will bite so explain but consider the majority of our founding fathers were educators, statesman and politicians. I promise you Donald does not have the foresight our founding Fathers have. I do not see Samuel Adams yelling "poll numbers" and cracking on individuals appearance, family or religion. How so? You do realize that our Founding Fathers were arguably people more like Trump than Sanders.

Really? Tell me which of our Founding Fathers would have answered a question like this. For those of you who are thinking about supporting Trump, this is his actual, word for word answer-
Question- How will you bring back the American Dream?
Answer (again, verbatim word for word)- "Look. We can bring the American Dream back. That I will tell you. We're bringing it back. Okay? And I understand what you're saying. And I get that from so many people. 'Is the American Dream dead?' And the American Dream is in trouble. That I can tell you. Okay? It's in trouble. But we're going to get it back and do some real job. How about that man with that beautiful red hat? Stand up. Stand up. What a hat!"
That's how he answers every question he's asked. Theres zero substance to any of the answers he gives, outside of the super outlandish shit like he's going to stop all Muslims from entering the country.Really? Considering I don't have low self-esteem, I would say Trump.
You do know that they had primaries then too... but not 15 people running on one side.Let's just admit that the primary system of selecting candidates is not working. We got better candidates with the old convention system....and it didn't last two years.
A whole lot of socialist bad scary, bad scary in this thread. To be expected, I guess. Me see scary word. Me heard that word bad.
And yes, to the extent that the "founding fathers" were rich white men who sought to extend their influence by marginalizing women and any group of color, yes, they are very similar to Donald Trump.
I suppose that's the best thing you can say about Trump. He behaves as if he'd be governing in the 1700s. I suppose I question why you believe this is a good thing.
Since I do not want America to become Venezuela 2.0, I woul vote for Trump. If Bernie won the Democratic Nominee
and Trump won the Republican Nominee
who would you vote for and why?

C'mon, now. That was one of his more literate answers!
I think I'd go Sanders because there is no way he would get any of his policies through a Republican Congress. Trump just might ... and he'd embarrass America everyday he served in the White House [although I jokingly tell people that should he win he will claim that the White House is a total mess, old, musty, a really miserable place to live. And then he will move in to the soon-to-be-completed Trump Hotel (nee The Old Post Office) a couple blocks down Pennsylvania closer to the Capitol.]
The guy wants to raise taxes, redistribute wealth, give free college to all, universal healthcare for all... I don't think it's just a scary word. Those are scary ideas for someone who already contributes a great deal to the federal coffers. 100% chance that Bernie policies cost me (and most others in the contributing class) a significant amount.
And what's the point of my 529 plan that I diligently fund if college is going to be free for everyone? Or my HSA that I have carefully built? I guess there's no need to responsibly plan since the government will just take care of us. Or we could support free market capitalism and personal responsibility.
I think Trump is a tool and his comments about women and other religions are divisive, but I would tolerate that over a shift to government dependence.
For your handle, you sure are uneducated.
Trump/Ryan/McConnell would be one scary triumvirate. He's right. Bernie would never get any of his radical ideas past congress. But Trump would set us back to the stone ages.

Taxes are not evil. You can argue about how the money is spent but they are necessary not just to run a necessary government but also as an economic tool. When things are booming, you can raise taxes to curb inflation and pay down the debt. When the pendulum swings back, you cut as a stimulus. Anyone whose primary political position is tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts doesn't belong in any serious discussion.
When 62 families have accumulated more wealth than the bottom 50% of the entire world, some redistribution is called for. We've been redistributing from bottom to top for some time now in a rigged game. I have no sympathy. Think how we could reduce the welfare rolls if the Walton family paid workers enough to get them off the dole instead of teaching them how to get on. And welfare does the country more good than tax cuts for the rich. The only thing that drives an economy is people spending money. Period. It's called aggregate demand. All welfare money is spent. Tax cuts for billionaires just adds to an idle pile helping no one.
They were more doctors and business men than politicians.I will bite so explain but consider the majority of our founding fathers were educators, statesman and politicians. I promise you Donald does not have the foresight our founding Fathers have. I do not see Samuel Adams yelling "poll numbers" and cracking on individuals appearance, family or religion.

I would love to hear what each of the Bernie supporters do for a living. Come on, tell the world how you contribute to the community. How you create jobs, invest in your neighbors, pay taxes, volunteer, provide financial support to your local charities.
You see, the people that do the above are statistically more likely to be conservative.
