I'm not sure, what you are talking about here. So, there was a fault on the wind turbine grid so the entire system went offline, and the wind turbine folks bought power from the power company to keep their turbines from freezing. That sounds like smart thinking to save repair costs.

That seems to be the story with the other parts coming from a whistleblower's accusations. I don't pay much attention to whistle blowers one way or the other, until something happens in court.
