In addition, it was likely the Secret Service that blew the whistle because they are law enforcement first and foremost.

I don’t recall the exact years ago or such but I had TS clearance and worked with documents classified at various levels and let me tell you a short story about pictures.
Probably about 10 years ago a Navy sailor took pictures on a nuclear sub that in essence showed nothing of anything about the sub but was prosecuted because he took a picture.
This was at the same time Hillary Clinton was under scrutiny for having S/TS documents carrying them around in her and her staff cars and briefcases
Every week there were multiple joked being made about Hillary Clinton and her staff going to jail for
careless document handling
Nothing happened to them but the poor sailor spent a year in the brig for a picture
So a picture can get you in jail if you are not a powerful Democrat or liberal
Same with Trump
His document handling when compared to Obama/Biden or other Democrats over the last decade is a nothing burger

One point to make here.... While I think that his declassified argument is asinine and made up,. It really doesn't matter when it comes to Presidential Records since they don't belong to him and he has no rights to them. It would be like quitting, or more accurately being fired from a job and trying to take your work computer home and not returning it.
