from the very beginning it has been about the hospitals. That is what trump referenced as justification for shutting down the country. It was a bipartisan agreement. Then it got political.
The vaccine keeps people out of the hospital. The vaccine greatly prevents death. And yes I know your uncle’s cousin’s best friend works in a hospital in Elgin and told you that this is not true, but the data backs up my statement.
You are the one listening to politicians. I listen to scientists and doctors.

i agree 100%. That is what I meant by more people. I read last year that scientists were advising Biden to start shipping more vaccines abroad rather than to keep trying to get republicans to vaccinate.

Since it’s all about the hospitals, once the strain on resources wanes, will everyone stop trying to force vaccine mandates on young healthy people? You know, the ones that scientists and doctors say are extremely unlikely to die or require hospitalization?
Why is the conservative focus always on the individual and not that individual's ability to spread the virus? We know that you're 70% less likely to even contract the virus if you're vaccinated which means you're less likely to spread it to other people. Every single person is a possible vector so reducing that pool of likely spreaders is the goal. It's not that hard to understand so cry me a river about your rights and your "freedumb". It's not about you...
define “everyone”. I fully support the rights of an employer - be it private sector, military, govt - to enforce mandates.

Number of U.S. COVID deaths under Trump (with no vaccine, few treatments, and a more deadly variant): 396,837 Number of U.S. COVID deaths under Biden (with universally available vaccine, better treatments, and a less deadly variant): 528,379
Now, just replace Trump with 2020 and replace Biden with 2021 removing left vs right. The rest of the data isn't inaccurate and we are above 75% of the US public (teens to adults) having received the vaccine. Given the above data point, what college educated person would argue that it's all down to the 25% (likely to be mostly children) who are unvaccinated that are putting other people at risk? The velocity of the death rate shows that doesn't gel.
I will say this for everyone one more time........this isn't about left vs right, it's about a virus that has outpaced the science and we are a country that refused to evolve with the data. It's time to pivot to living with it, not trying to prevent it the same as most of Europe are doing.
If you want to stay in the bunker, your "freedumb" gives you that right. Same as it allows those not as concerned to live their lives as they see fit. You type "it's not about you" while you're making it all about you.......

I don't feel the need to stay in my bunker because I am triple vaxxed, but I do feel sympathy for the elderly or immunocompromised that do have to stay in their bunker because of selfish assholes that could get a free and safe vaccine in the next 15 mins if they wanted to. Because I didn't just get vaxxed for me, I got vaxxed for them too, thereby making it NOT about me.

Those doctors on Rogan's show are not well respected and don't have the data to back them up. But you want to amplify their voices because...again...they own the libs.
As far as the mid-terms go, I think the right is getting a little too cocky about taking over Congress but recent polling doesn't bear that out. They may not like Biden but the last few years have shown them how dangerous it is to give control of Congress over to that batshit cabal of liars.

Jan 6th may not be enough of a political stick to keep swinging through this year and 2024. Especially when droves of people who aren't conservatives are crowd robbing luxury stores (see Westchester NY for the latest).
You should check out some of the research Andy Ngo has done on how the justice system isn't holding those that participated in destruction and riots across 2020 to the same level of the law as they are the Jan 6th folks. Pretty shocking to see our nation derive into two justice systems. I'd like to see both groups of law breakers tried the same way.
I don't have a problem with throwing the book at the rioters, but let's be honest - one group was protesting something that ACTUALLY happened..... the other wasn't.
